Ingredients
- ♡ 400 G Canned Chickpeas - Rinsed Drained Patted Dry With Paper Towel
- ♡ ½ Cup Fresh Parsley - Chopped
- ♡ 2 Green Shallots - Chopped
- ♡ 1 Tsp Ground Cumin
- ♡ 2 Tbls Sesame Seeds
- ♡ 3 Tbls Wholemeal Plain Flour
- ♡ Canola Oil For Shallow Frying
Instructions
- ♥ Place chickpeas, parsley, shallots, sesame seeds, cumin, in a food processor and process until smooth. Transfer to a mixing bowl
- ♥ Add flour 1 Tbls at a time and knead the mixture until the flour is combined. For the right consistency, you should be able to mold the dough into discs without it sticking to your hands.
- ♥ Using a tablespoon, scoop out the mixture and mould it into round discs and lay them flat on a plate
- ♥ Cover the plate with plastic and refrigerate for 1-2 hours.
- ♥ Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat, shallow fry patties for 3 to 4 minutes each side or until cooked through and lightly coloured.
- ♥ Serve with yoghurt and Lebanese bread.
