In the “real” world, you can be confronted by people who are too busy to exercise and feel it necessary to devalue your commitment to your personal well-being.

In these situations, it is important to appreciate their view by taking a step back to evaluate your relationship with them. Reflect on how busy you are, and whether you can afford to spend energy, feeling uncomfortable, in justifying the importance of having a healthy body.

When you join forces with your friends, you’ll find benefits going beyond your expectations. Remember always, any exercise you do consistently will give you good fitness results…exercising with friends makes a good thing great!

  • Motivation: The “fun factor” …..let’s face it, getting up early for exercise is not fun…Having friends to share it with makes it fun.  Whether you’re a morning person or not…no one can be a sour lemon in the morning with their friends!

Ahh!!…No saboteurs allowed!  Friends help you to make better choices and will get you back on track when you have a setback.  You will also get to celebrate everyone’s success knowing you played a large part.
  • Support: When you have good friends with you,  the journey to well-being is easier and even enjoyable…Imagine years from now, after creating this fitness group, you are still going strong.  You will look back and realize that not only did you do something that has dramatically improved your life; you will have created the same for your friends.  You probably won’t remember a specific workout or exercise, but you will most likely remember the good times you had and the sense of accomplishment you felt every time you finished a workout.

How to find fitness friends

This part is easy – join us!  We have classes at  Artarmon and Epping with groups that love welcoming new friends!

Create a fitness group online anywhere in the world! Find some good friends who want to workout with you and set a date for exercise. Then contact me, and I will set up a Square Box Fitness Facebook group just for your group.
