Ingredients
- ♡ 3 Cups Plain Flour
- ♡ 2 X 7g Sachet Instant Dry Yeast
- ♡ ½ Teaspoon Salt
- ♡ 1 ¼ Cup Warm Water
- ♡ 3 Tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- ♡ Extra Flour
- ♡ ½ Cup Of Sliced Black Olives – Pat Dry With Paper Towel
- ♡ Sesame Seeds To Top And Extra Olives To Serve.
Instructions
- ♥ Preheat oven to 200ºC
- ♥ Sift flour into a large bowl. Add yeast and salt. Mix well
- ♥ Combine warm water and oil in a cup. Add to flour mixture. Using a round butter knife in cutting motion mix until the dough comes together.
- ♥ Use extra flour and your finger tips to gently shape the dough into a soft disc. Turn onto a lightly-floured surface and using a rolling pin roll out the dough to a rectangle shape.
- ♥ Top half the dough with the olives and fold over. Sprinkle sesame seeds and roll the dough to a rectangle shape about 3 cm thick.
- ♥ Set aside in a warm draught-free place for 30 minutes or until risen slightly.
- ♥ Bake in the centre of the preheated oven for 25 minutes or until golden and cooked through. Serve warm or at room temperature.
